I grew up in a "Border Collie house", so I'm no stranger to high-octane energy, whip-smart intelligence, and the focus these dogs need. I know exactly what it takes to keep a working breed happy and balanced! 

Two years ago, I added a Leonberger to my life. She's the total opposite - big, soulful, and a bit lazier - but she's taught me the art of handling giant breeds and the importance of steady, calm leadership. Whether your dog is a 5kg ball of energy or a 50kg "carpet" with legs, I'm comfortable and capable.

 I've cared for a few family dogs, from Toy Poodles to larger German Shepherds. Friends' cats with dietary needs. And having had two guinea pigs when I was younger, I know your pets are safe with me. 

How I Care for Your Dog: 

I believe in structure and quality time. A typical day with me includes:

Active Adventures: Depending on your dog's energy level, I provide walks ranging from 45 to 90 minutes. For high-energy breeds, we hit the trails for a proper hike; for my "giant" friends, we take steady, muscle-friendly strolls.

Routine & Reliability: I stick closely to your established feeding and potty schedules to keep your dog feeling secure. I am a firm believer in mental stimulation, so I love incorporating short training sessions or "brain games" into our day.

Any training you're doing with your dog, I can do as well, having taught mine all the basics (and some) commands.

Full Supervision: Your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I provide near-constant supervision, ensuring they are safe, settled, and getting plenty of belly rubs.

Tailored Care: Whether your dog has "big dog" joint needs, requires a slow pace, or needs a firm hand on a leash to manage reactivity, I adapt my handling style to match their specific personality. 

Home & safety

Your dog will be able to find his/her space to rest and relax. On their own bed, with a provided blanket, or near me for company. I maintain a "dog-proofed" space to ensure no curious paws get in trouble. Living close to Slottsfjell and perfect doggy trails, there will always be somewhere new to walk with no traffic if your dog is sensitive to that. 

There are 3 vets close by, so in case of any emergencies, there will be no trouble getting your pup there!   

There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing a dog truly thrive. Whether it's the spark in their eyes when they nail a command or the pure joy of them exploring trails, I find so much fulfilment in their happiness. I believe every dog deserves to live their best life, filled with purpose, play, and plenty of love!

So no matter the weather, the mood, your dog will get what it needs!
