Olena

Hello!  My name is Olena,I am 35 years old. My main profession is a musician. However I adore spending time with animals, it gives me a possibility to regain my good spirits and take some rest from music. My grandfather was a veterinarian and a retired professor at Veterinarian academy back in my hometown in Ukraine. My family always kept a cat at home...well, at least one...;) Well at least we though we kept them but maybe it is them who kept us ;) Since childhood, I liked those fluffy creatures and it looks like I have learned quite alot about their behavior, signs of affection and temper. I adore cats and first and foremost looking forward to spending time in their company. I think every cat has its own personality and temper like a human being and I adore to slowly discover what my new fluffy friend is like and in every kittie that I visit I find a new friend to me. 

I offer home visits for cats once or twice a day which is for me not only feeding the cat and cleaning after it but also socializing, communicating, playing and spending time. Maybe one day I will open a cat cafe where people can enjoy cats company. Yes, I believe in feline therapy. Catsitting for me is also a combining of useful with a great passtime, as I have mentioned I adore cats ;))) The place where I live is very animal-friendly. it has a lot of woods, nature, and roads and for dog-walking, playing fetch etc. Available to catsitting around Holmenkollen, Røa, Ullern, Bekkestua, Majorstuen but also to other districts of Oslo.  

I also have some experience with looking after rabbits and geckos that is new exciting side of being a pet sitter. 

While being a catsitter I met a bunch of amazing, kind, interesting people that became my friends. I am convinced that a person with a big heart can give so much love affection and care to an animal and a cat in particular. Cat owners can be all diferent but there is one thing that unies them - they are all good amazing people with a heart in a right place. My big hug to all cat lovers!
