We are a couple in our 30s living in Oslo and both working as researchers. We love animals and have 2 cats. Shortly after moving to Oslo, we noticed that it is not always easy to find someone to trust with your pets while you are away! So, we would love to help others when they are away by going for home visits. We have cats for a very long time now and, we fostered cats for the local shelters in Oslo and Bergen. From our cats we know how boring and lonely it can be for them, so we would love to keep some company for others' pets. Unfortunately, we cannot have any guest pets in our home unless there is an emergency, but we are happy to visit them at their own place. In addition to feeding and playing, we can handle some medications as long as the cat is not very grumpy and can take care of special needs cats too. We have experience with pretty much all ages of cats and after surgery care as well. We can drive in short distances, which gives us flexibility for location and time. We have had some cat-sitting exchanges with people living close by for the last 2-3 years, and we always had positive experiences.
